- 3 1/2 c. pecan halves
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 egg whites
- dash of salt
- dash of cinnamon
- 1/2 c. butter
Directions

1Preheat oven to 300 degrees.

2Spread pecans in single layer on jelly roll pan and roast 15-20 minutes.

3DO NOT BURN!

4Remove pecans and let cool.

5Increase oven to 325 degrees.

6Beat egg whites until stiff.

7Gently fold in sugar, salt and cinnamon. Once pecans are cooled, gently fold into egg white mixture.

8Melt butter in jelly roll pan and return pecans to pan in single layer. Bake 30 minutes, turning pecans every 10 minutes, until butter is gone.
