- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/3 cup light corn syrup

1Peel pineapple and slice into bite sized chunks.

2In a heavy saucepan bring sugar, water and corn syrup to a boil.

4Cook over low heat until fruit becomes transparent.

5Drain pineapple on rack and allow to dry.
