- 1 lb. sugar
- 1/4 lb. Karo light corn syrup
Directions

1Boil sugar and syrup using enough water to dissolve.

2Do not stir anymore.

3Boil to 300°.

4When at 300°, place wood skewers into stem end of bright red apples.

5Dip into the candy syrup, then place on a large, well-greased pan with bottom of apple down. Apples dry in 15 minutes.

6(Set pan of syrup in boiling water and dip after the boil is finished.)
