  • 1 c. margarine
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 7 qt. popcorn (unsalted)

Directions

    Boil margarine, sugar and syrup 5 minutes.

    Remove from heat; add salt, vanilla and soda.

    Stir until dissolved.

    Pour over popcorn; mix well.

    Bake in oven at 150° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

    Bake in long, buttered pan.
