  • 1 pkg. dates
  • 1 1/2 c. pecans
  • 2 c. sugar
  • 3/4 c. milk
  • 1/4 Tbsp. salt

Directions

    Cook sugar and milk to 258° (soft ball stage).

    Immediately add dates from which the seeds have been removed.

    Beat until the dates are dissolved.

    When stiff, add nuts and place in a cold wet towel.

    Make a roll.

    Put in refrigerator until chilled.

    Slice as desired.
