  • 3 qt. popped popcorn
  • 1 c. small gumdrops
  • 2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. vanilla extract
  • 1 drop red food coloring

Directions

    Mix popcorn and gumdrops in a very large bowl.

    Combine syrup and salt in saucepan; cook, stirring occasionally, to 254°. Remove from heat.

    Add vanilla extract and food coloring.

    Slowly pour over popcorn mixture, tossing until coated.
  5. 5
    Quickly shape into 16 balls.
