  • 2 (3 oz.) pkg. strawberry flavored gelatin
  • 1 c. ground pecans
  • 1 c. ground coconut
  • 3/4 c. sweetened condensed milk
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • red sugar crystals
  • green food coloring
  • slivered almonds

Directions

    Mix together gelatin, pecans, coconut, condensed milk and vanilla.

    Shape mixture into strawberries.
  3. 3
    Chill at least 1 hour. Roll chilled berries in crystals and add food color to almonds to tint a delicate green.

    Use for leaves and stems of berries. Yields about 48 berries.
