- 2 tins minced clams (7.5 oz.)
- 2 c. flour
- 1 c. milk
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 tsp. baking powder
Directions

1Combine flour, baking powder, eggs, milk and seasonings into a batter.

2Stir in the clams, mixing thoroughly.

3Drop from spoon into deep, hot fat and cook for 1 minute or until golden brown. Richer cakes may be made by using 1/2 cup clam liquor and reducing the milk listed to 1/2 cup.
