- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. red cinnamon candies
- 1 tsp. margarine or butter
Directions

1Combine first 3 ingredients in a heavy 3-quart saucepan. Cook, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.

2Cook over medium heat, stirring often, about 10 minutes or until mixture reaches soft ball stage (234°).

3Add cinnamon candies, cook stirring constantly, to hard crack stage (300°).

4Remove from heat, stir in butter.

5Quickly pour into a buttered 13 x 9-inch pan.

6Cool.

7Break into small pieces to serve.

8Yields 1 1/2 pounds.
