- 2 (9-inch) pie crusts
- 2 eggs
- 2 (10 1/2 oz. each) cans minced clams
- 1/2 c. coarse unsalted cracker crumbs
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. oleo
- 1 tsp. cold water
Directions

1Beat eggs in bowl; put 1 tablespoon in a cup and reserve. Drain liquid from clams; measure 3/4 cup and stir into eggs and clams, milk, cracker crumbs, salt and pepper.

2Spoon into crust; dot evenly with oleo.

3Top with second crust.

4Tuck in edges and flute.

5Cut slits in center to vent steam.

6Stir cold water into 1 tablespoon reserved egg and brush over crust.

7Bake at 450° (very hot!) 15 minutes.

8Lower temperature and bake at 350° for 30 minutes or until golden.

9Cool 15 minutes.

10Cut into wedges.
