- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 3/4 c. corn syrup
- 1 pt. thick cream
Directions

1Put sugar, syrup, butter and 1 cup cream on fire; stir until the mass boils thoroughly.

2Then stir in gradually so as not to stop the boiling.

3Add second cup of cream.

4Cook until thermometer reads 260° or hard ball stage.

5Add vanilla and pour into 8-inch square pan.

6Cool, cut and wrap.
