Caramel Apple Coffee Cake

- 2 cans refrigerated rolls
- 1 stick melted butter
- 1/2 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. corn syrup
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 apple
- 2 Tbsp. sugar, mixed with 2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Directions

1Melt butter.

2Add brown sugar and corn syrup and blend.

3Pour mixture into bottom of 8 x 8-inch or 10-inch round pan.

4Sprinkle with chopped nuts.

5Peel and slice apple.

6Spread apple slices on top of nuts.

7Dip each refrigerated roll in sugar-cinnamon mixture (one side only).

8Place sugar side down in the pan.

9After placing all rolls in pan, sprinkle remaining mixture over all.

10Bake in 375° oven and turn out onto a large plate or tray.

11Let sit for 30 seconds, then lift off and serve warm.
