- 1 1/2 Tbsp. quick cooking tapioca
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 3/4 tsp. cinnamon
- 1 Tbsp. orange juice
- 1/2 tsp. grated orange rind
- 1 (1 lb. 4 oz.) can apple slices
- 1 c. caramel chips
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine
Directions

1Combine tapioca, salt, cinnamon, orange juice, orange rind and apples.

2Fill unbaked pie shell with 1/2 apple mixture and sprinkle with 1/2 of the caramel chips.

3Add remaining apples, then remaining chips; dot with butter.

4Put on top crust (make slits in top crust for air to escape).

5Bake at 425° for 10 minutes; reduce heat to 350° and bake 40 to 45 minutes or until golden brown.
