- 1 bag caramels
- 1 can evaporated milk
- 1 stick oleo, softened
- 1 box German chocolate cake mix
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. chocolate chips
- 1 c. pecans
Directions

1Add 1/2 cup milk to the cake mix and 1 stick softened oleo. Bake 1/2 of the cake batter 20 minutes in a 9 x 13-inch baking dish.

2Melt the caramels with 1/2 cup milk.

3Pour on top of cake mix, then spread the bag of chocolate chips on top of caramel. Spread pecans over that.

4Pour the remaining cake batter over the top.

5Bake 20 minutes longer.
