- 1 1/4 c. butter or margarine
- 2 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 2 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 6 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
Directions

1Melt butter in saucepan.

2Add brown sugar and bring to a boil. Add milk and bring to a boil again. Remove from heat.

3Add vanilla and enough powdered sugar to make desired consistency. Beat several minutes and frost cool cake.

4Makes enough icing for 2 cakes.

5May keep in refrigerator.
