- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1 c. margarine
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 7 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Boil first 4 ingredients in a large saucepan for 5 minutes to 245°.

2Add soda and vanilla.

3Pour over popped popcorn in very large bowl or kettle; mix evenly.

4Spread out on 2 large well-greased cookie sheets.

5Bake at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes.

6Remove from oven, cool slightly and pour onto wax paper (on countertop).

7Break into pieces as it cools.
