Ingredients

  • 3 Tbsp. oil
  • 1 large onion, sliced
  • 3 sticks celery, chopped
  • 2 carrots, sliced
  • 3 oz. sliced mushrooms
  • 5 Tbsp. soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
  • 1/2 c. water
  • 1/2 lb. sirloin steak, cut into thin strips
  • 1/2 (10 oz.) pkg. French-style green beans
  • 1/2 c. coarsely chopped water chestnuts
  • 1/4 Tbsp. sugar

Directions

    Heat oil in skillet, add beef and salt.

    Stir and brown for about 5 minutes.

    Add onion, celery, beans, mushrooms, carrots and water chestnuts.

    Stir and cook on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes.
