- 2 sticks butter
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 5 qt. popped popcorn
Directions

1Combine butter, brown sugar, corn syrup and cream of tartar in saucepan.

2Boil 5 minutes.

3Remove from heat.

4Stir in soda.

5Pour over popcorn and mix well.

6Put on cookie sheet and bake at 250° for one hour.

7Stir every 15 minutes.

8Cool on wax paper.
