Ingredients

  • 4 qt. popped corn
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1 stick margarine
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup (white)
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Mix together the brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt and bring to a boil over low heat. Boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the vanilla and soda (will cause mixture to foam). Stir quickly and well.

    Pour over popped corn and stir. Bake in a 225° oven for 1 hour or microwave for 9 minutes, stirring every 1 1/2 minutes.
