Ingredients

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 7 qt. popped corn
  • 1/2 tsp. soda

Directions

    Boil first 4 ingredients for 5 minutes. Add soda.

    Stir well. Pour over popped corn and coat evenly.

    Spread on 2 cookie sheets. Bake in oven at 250° for 1 hour, stirring every 15 minutes. Separate into pieces while still warm.

    Store in airtight containers.
