Ingredients

  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 15 c. popped corn
  • 1/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1/2 c. butter
  • 1 tsp. baking soda

Directions

    Boil sugar, salt, Karo and butter to 200° on candy thermometer.

    Remove from heat; add baking soda (will get foamy). Pour popcorn on baking sheets and pour caramel mixture over corn. Bake for 1 hour and 10 minutes.

    Stir occasionally.
