  • 2 bags microwave popcorn
  • 1 c. butter
  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • pecans (as much as you like)

Directions

    Spread popped popcorn and pecans on cookie sheet.

    Boil butter, salt, brown sugar and corn syrup for 5 minutes on medium heat.

    Remove from heat and stir in soda.

    Pour over popcorn. Bake 1 hour at 250°, stirring it every 15 minutes.

    Let cool before eating.

    Bake until crispy and dry.

    Can add peanuts.
