Caramel Corn

  • 2 c. brown sugar
  • 2 sticks margarine
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. baking soda
  • 7 1/2 qt. popped corn

Directions

    Combine brown sugar, margarine, syrup and salt in medium saucepan.

    Bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda. Pour over popped corn and spread on cookie sheet. Bake at 200° for 1 hour, turning at 15 minute intervals. Cool and break apart.
