- 2 c. brown sugar
- 2 sticks butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup (Karo)
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- pinch of cream of tartar
Directions

1Combine first 4 ingredients and boil for 5 minutes.

2Remove from heat and add remaining ingredients.

3Stir well.

4Pour over 15 to 20 cups of popped corn.

5Put in roaster and bake 1 hour at 250°; stir every 15 minutes.

6Cool.

7Put in an airtight container.
