  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. butter or margarine
  • 1/2 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
  • 3 qt. popped corn
  • 2 c. pecan halves

Directions

    Grease the sides and bottom of a large pan with butter.

    Add the 3 quarts of popped corn and set aside.

    In a heavy pan, combine the white sugar, butter or margarine, brown sugar, Karo syrup and pecans.

    Cook over medium heat 15 minutes after it starts to boil or to 300° on a candy thermometer.

    Pour over popped corn and toss.

    Turn out on a greased cookie sheet; cool and break into pieces.
