- 1/2 lb. butter (2 sticks)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. syrup
- 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Directions

1Boil hard for 5 minutes.

2Remove from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon soda; pour over popped corn.

3Stir well.

4Put in oven at 250° for 1 hour.

5Stir 2 to 3 times.

6Will stay crisp for weeks in tight container.
