- 8 c. popped corn
- 3/4 c. packed brown sugar
- 6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Put popcorn in a 17 x 12 x 2-inch baking dish in saucepan. Combine sugar, butter, corn syrup and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

2Cook. Stir over medium heat until butter melts and mixture boils.

3Cook (no stirring) 5 minutes more.

4Remove from heat.

5Stir in baking soda and vanilla.

6Pour over popcorn.

7Gently stir (coat).

8Bake at 300° for 15 minutes.

9Stir.

10Cook 5 to 10 minutes more.
