- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 c. white Karo syrup
- 1 c. oleo or butter
- 1 pinch salt
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 6 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Combine sugar, salt, syrup, oleo and cream of tartar.

2Cook over medium heat for 5 minutes, then add baking soda.

3Pour over popped corn and mix thoroughly.

4Bake on cookie sheet for 1 hour at 200°.

5Stir occasionally while baking.
