  • 6 or 7 qt. popped corn
  • 2 sticks butter
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar
  • 1/2 c. white corn syrup
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Boil butter, both sugars, corn syrup and salt for 5 minutes, stirring constantly.

    Remove from heat and add soda and vanilla. Pour over popped corn, stirring well.

    A long shallow pan works best.

    Bake at 225° or 250° for approximately 1 hour.

    Stir every 15 minutes.
