  • 2 c. unpopped corn
  • 2 c. packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 c. oleo
  • 1/2 c. light corn syrup
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 to 1 1/2 c. nuts

Directions

    Pop the corn.

    Mix and boil sugar, oleo and salt for five minutes.

    Take off heat and add vanilla and soda.

    Pour over popped corn and nuts, mixing well in deep roaster type pan.

    Bake uncovered 1 hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.
