- 2 qt. popped popcorn
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 2 Tbsp. dark corn syrup
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Place popcorn in a 4 to 6-quart microwave-safe utensil. Combine sugar, margarine, syrup and salt in a 1-quart glass bowl. Microwave on High for 1 1/2 minutes.

2Stir.

3Microwave on High for 2 to 2 1/2 minutes more.

4Add baking soda and vanilla.

5Stir well. Pour mixture over popcorn, stirring to coat evenly.

6Microwave on High for 2 minutes, stirring midway through.

7Turn out on a piece of waxed paper to cool.
