Caramel Corn With Peanuts

- 2 gal. popcorn
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. white corn syrup
- 1/2 lb. margarine
- 1 c. raw peanuts
- 1/2 tsp. soda
- 1 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Pop popcorn.

2Remove all unpopped kernels.

3Set aside.

4In saucepan, combine brown sugar, corn syrup, margarine and peanuts. Bring mixture to boil and boil 5 minutes.

5Remove from heat.

6Add soda and vanilla.

7Stir well.

8Pour hot mixture over popcorn. Spread covered corn onto shallow baking pans.

9Bake 1 hour at 250°, stirring every 15 minutes.

10Cool.

11Break apart and store in Ziploc bags.
