- 1 c. sugar
- 2 c. sugar
- 1 c. milk
Directions

1Brown first 2 ingredients in a heavy saucepan.

2While this is browning, heat 2 cups sugar and 1 cup milk together.

3Add to browned sugar and butter.

4Cook about 3 minutes to the soft ball stage.

5Cool slightly, then beat to spreading consistency.
