- 2 1/2 qt. popcorn, popped
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 c. light corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 c. peanuts
Directions

1Spread popcorn and nuts in a large shallow pan and place in preheated 250° oven.

2Combine butter, brown sugar, syrup and salt in saucepan.

3Cook over medium heat, stirring, until sugar dissolves.

4Boil until mixture reaches 248° (firm ball stage), about 5 minutes.

5Remove from heat and stir in soda.

6Pour mixture over corn and nuts, stirring gently to coat.

7Return glazed popcorn and nut mixture to oven and bake 45 minutes, stirring every 15 minutes.

8When cooled, pack in airtight tins.

9Makes slightly more than 2 1/2 quarts crunch.
