  • 1/2 c. Crisco
  • 1 box light brown sugar
  • 1 c. white sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 1 c. sweet milk
  • 3 c. plain flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1 c. chopped pecans
  • 1 Tbsp. vanilla

    Beat until creamy; add eggs.

    Blend flour, salt and baking powder. Add creamed mixture with milk.
