- 6 qt. popped corn (two 9 x 13-inch pans heaped full)
- 2 sticks oleo
- 2 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/2 c. white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. baking soda
Directions

1Boil for five minutes the oleo, brown sugar and white corn syrup.

2Remove from heat and add salt, vanilla and baking soda. Pour over popcorn.

3Stir to mix.

4Bake at 250° for 40 minutes. Stir about twice while in the oven.

5Cool on wax paper.

6Break apart.
