- 4 qt. popped corn
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 stick margarine
- 1/2 c. corn syrup
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1/2 tsp. soda
Directions

1In saucepan, mix sugar, margarine, syrup and salt.

2Stir over medium heat until boiling.

3Continue boiling without stirring for 5 minutes.

4Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and soda.

5Pour over popcorn.

6Stir to coat well.

7Bake in 250° oven for 1 hour. Stir several times during baking.

8Will keep several weeks, crisp, if stored in airtight container.
