- 2 sticks margarine
- 1/2 c. white syrup
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 6 qt. popped corn
Directions

1Mix margarine, syrup and sugar. Bring to boil for 6 minutes, stirring constantly.

2Remove from heat and add cream of tartar, salt and soda. Stir until foamy.

3Pour over popped corn. Spread on cookie sheet after mixing.

4Bake at 200° for 1 hour. Parched peanuts may be added, if desired.
