- 1 c. popcorn (6 qt. popped corn)
- 2 c. brown sugar
- 1 c. butter or oleo
- 1/2 c. light corn syrup
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. chopped peanuts
Directions

1Pop corn as directed.

2In large saucepan combine brown sugar, butter, syrup and salt.

3Heat to boiling and cook for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add baking soda.

4Stir hot syrup into popped corn and peanuts.

5Spread on baking sheet.

6Bake at 200° for 1 hour, stirring every 10 to 15 minutes.

7Cool.

8Makes 5 quarts.
