- 4 plantains, peeled
- 14 cup cooking oil
- 2 cups sugar
- 12 tablespoon vinegar
Directions

1Cut peeled plantains in thick wedges or slices.

2Fry plantain in hot cooking oil for 2 minutes, drain, and set apart.

3Mix sugar and vinegar and cook on stovetop to hard ball stage.

4Dip plantains in cooked syrup or pour syrup over them.
