  • 2 c. sugar
  • 1 3/4 c. Karo syrup
  • 1 c. butter
  • 1 c. cream
  • dash of salt
  • 1 c. cream
  • 1 tsp. vanilla

Directions

    Bring to a boil first 5 ingredients.

    Slowly add cream, without losing the boil.
  3. 3
    Stir constantly until 240° on thermometer.
  4. 4
    Take off of heat; stir in vanilla.
  5. 5
    Pour into 9 x 13-inch buttered pan.

    Cut and wrap when cool.
