- 1 c. caramel
- 3/4 c. white syrup
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1 c. light cream
- 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
Directions

1Combine sugar, syrup, butter and half cup of cream.

2Then bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

3Add remaining half cup of cream.

4Cook slowly to very hard ball stage on oven at 260°. Remove from heat; add nuts and vanilla.

5Pour in 8-inch greased square pan.

6Mark in squares when partially cool.

7Cut when cold. Wrap caramels in wax paper and keep in a tight container.

8Makes up to 100 pieces.
