Ingredients
- 1 pkg. hot roll mix
- 1 1/2 to 2 tsp. ground cardamon or 1 tsp. crushed cardamon seed
- 1 Tbsp. butter, melted
- 1/2 c. light raisins
Directions

1Prepare hot roll mix according to package.

2Add melted butter, cooled, to cardamon and raisins.

3Mix well.

4Cover.

5Let rise until double (1 hour).

6On lightly floured surface, knead dough about 1 minute; divide in thirds.

7Roll each third underhand to form a strand 10-inches long, tapering ends.

8Place strands 1 inch apart on greased baking sheet.

9Beginning in middle, braid three strands loosely, working toward either end.

10Pinch ends together.

11Cover and let rise until almost double (40 minutes, approximately). Brush braid with milk and sprinkle with sugar.

12Bake at 375° for 25 minutes.

13Serve warm.
