Ingredients

  • 2 lbs flank steaks or 2 lbs skirt steaks
  • 12 cup olive oil
  • 1 jalapeno, seeded and minced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 cup fresh cilantro, finely chopped
  • 2 limes, juice of
  • 2 tablespoons white vinegar
  • 12 teaspoon sugar
  • salt and pepper

    Lay the flank steak in a large non reflective bowl.Combine ingredients to form marinade

    Then pour marinade over steak.

    Cover for 1-4 hours, and refrigerate.

    Preheat grill pan on medium high flame.

    Brush the grates with some olive oil toi prevent the meat from sticking.

    Season the steak with the salt and pepper.

    Grill the pieces for a few minutes until they are medium rare.
