  • 1/2 c. oil
  • 3 c. sugar
  • 5 eggs
  • 3 1/4 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 1 tsp. lemon juice
  • 1 c. milk

    Cream shortenings; add sugar.

    Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add flour and milk.

    Pour into greased and floured tube pan.

    Bake at 325° for 1 1/2 hours.
