  • 1 lb. carrots, cut into 2-inch pieces
  • 1 (12 oz.) can pie apples
  • 1/2 c. white or brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1/8 tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 Tbsp. butter
