  • 2 c. sugar
  • 2 c. flour, sifted
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 2 tsp. cinnamon
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 1/2 c. oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 c. grated raw carrots
  • 1 c. chopped nuts

Directions

    Combine ingredients with electric mixer, adding eggs one at a time.

    Add nuts and carrots last.

    Pour into baking pan (oblong, angel food or 2 layers).

    Bake at 350° for 40 minutes for layer or 1 hour and 20 minutes for angel food pan.
