  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 c. salad oil
  • 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 c. grated carrots
  • 1 c. drained pineapple
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans

    Bake at 350° in layers for 25 to 30 minutes or maybe a little longer (three 9-inch layer pans) or at 325° for 1 hour and 10 minutes for a tube pan.
