Carrot Soup

Ingredients

  • 1 lb hamburger
  • 12 cup onion, chopped
  • 12 cup green pepper, chopped
  • 12 teaspoon salt
  • 12 cup celery, sliced
  • 2 34 cups carrots, grated
  • 1 quart tomato juice
  • 12 cup water
  • 12 teaspoon garlic salt
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 12 teaspoons pepper
  • 18 teaspoon marjoram
  • 2 cups cream of celery soup (i use a 10 oz condensed soup can with 1/2 cup water)
  • grated mozzarella cheese, for topping

Directions

    Brown hamburger and onion.

    Drain.

    Mix all ingredients in a big pot.

    Stir occasionally.

    Simmer until carrots are desired tenderness.

    Do Not Boil.

    Top with grated mozzarella cheese if desired.
