- 2 lb. carrots
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1/8 c. Galliano
- 1 tsp. anise seed
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- dash of white pepper
Directions

1Slice carrots into thin slices.

2In heavy saucepan, melt butter and stir in the Galliano and spices.

3Stir in the carrot slices and sprinkle with 1 teaspoon water.

4Cover and simmer over low heat 5 minutes.

5Turn the heat on high.

6Remove the lid and continue to cook carrots 15 minutes, until liquid is absorbed. Serves 8.
